Using Our Natural Materials Our native sandstones are beautiful –Parts of Coconino and Yavapai Counties are often considered sandstone-flagstone capitals of the world Our copper is plentiful, and, because it is local, it is cheap to use. It is used for a variety of things, such as: –Electrical wire –Brass alloy –Sculptures and other artwork –Roofs of houses and other important buildings –Ornamentation (to make things look nicer)
