6. 6 The concept (1) We - recycle CO 2 and process synfuels or use it for value-added hydrocarbons - employ electric energy from renewables for the recycling of CO 2 - employ hydrogen as storage medium, chemical process component, and fuel for regulating electric power - need baseload electricity from coal/nuclear - integrate electricity/heat generation and chemical processes - conceive an efficient transnational distribution system (grid)
