1. Responding to Stakeholder Needs  Career Focus Wage-Subsidy Program – The Council has funds available to help employers hire new workers in supply chain roles. Applications, submitted before hiring, are processed within a couple of days and participation in the program is simple. Learn more at www.supplychaincanada.org/en/career-focus.www.supplychaincanada.org/en/career-focus  Supply Chain Occupational Standards – The 20 occupational standards created by the Council can be used:  By employers, to develop job descriptions, competency profiles and job-performance tools, plan employee education and training programs, and establish succession plans;  By employees, to identify skills and knowledge needed for particular occupations, assess their abilities and training needs, and identify clear career paths; and  By learning providers, to design training and educational programs that meet industry needs.
