9 Body language (Munter p. 140) Posture: relaxed, professional, square to the audience Avoid rocking, swaying, or bouncing; leaning, slouching or hip sit Body movement: natural Avoid: nervous gestures. Avoid staying in one position Facial expression: some without overdoing it. Eye contact: Do look throughout the entire room Avoid looking constantly to notes. Vocal qualities: Inflection, enunciation, speed. Pay attention where you place yourself. For example, do you look at the slides? Place yourself in front of the computer.
