Trade Description A network system analyst works with network systems including local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs) internet or intranet. This person analyzes, designs, tests and evaluates these systems.

Expected Hours Per Day The approximate hours per day for a Network System Analyst would be 8 hours. Most people who work as Network System Analysis usually works full time. Meaning that they would work 8 hours a day for 5 days in a week.

Earning Potential Network System Analysts earn a median annual salary of about $73,250. Meaning that they would probably make about $6104 dollars on a monthly bases.

High School Accomplishments Needed to Become a Network System Analyst To become a network system analyst you need certain high school credits. Those consist of: A grade 12 English credit (college/university depending on where you want to go). Any grade 12 math credit and grade 11 functions credit (college/university depending on where you want to go).

Type of Post-Secondary Education and/or Training needed You can do the following:

Certificate To gain entry into the field you may want to do a network analyst certificate program. Basically in a certificate program you focus on basic computer programming, system design and gaining an understanding of how to configure, maintain and troubleshoot a computer network. To do this you will need a high school diploma.

Associate’s Degree An Associate of Science in Computer Network Administration is another meaning of education you can use to become a network system analyst. These programs take about 20 months doing the following: Configuring and installing networks Repairing and troubleshooting systems Analyzing and designing computer systems Types of operating systems and multimedia technologies

Post-Secondary Education To become a Network System Analyst you can also complete your bachelors and/or masters degree in university.

Qualifications granted upon completion of your education/training Bachelors Degree: A bachelors degree program can provide a basic understanding math and general computer use, a concentration in computer science, management information systems (MIS), engineering or information science is needed. Masters Degree: This can normally be achieved through professional seminars, software and hardware company training or traditional education. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is becoming more common for people looking to be a network system analyst.
