Always make sure you save your work before leaving a page/task Once you’ve saved your work, go back to the Enrich Homepage and log out; do not just close your browser Although Enrich auto-saves at times, if you just close your browser, you run the risk of loosing everything you’ve been working on AND there will be no record of your work in the Audit Log. Please remember to upload: transfer IEPs from the previous district Signature pages Signed Evaluation Plans, Eligibility Determinations, BIPs,… Uploads/Attachments

The SOP includes a summary of a student’s academic achievement and functional performance and recommendations on how to assist the student in meeting the his/her postsecondary goals. SOP is a tool that enables students to: transition seamlessly from secondary education to postsecondary education or employment; be empowered as self-advocates in the postsecondary setting; access disability services and have a record of accommodations to use in postsecondary education and employment settings; be engaged in the process of gathering information about the student’s strengths and postsecondary goals; and/or acquire appropriate employment. Summary of Performance

Enrich version is similar to, but more extensive than last year’s version SOP must be completed for any student graduating with a regular HS diploma and any student aging out (21) May be completed through IEP meeting, but not required Must get input from teachers, parents, and student to complete Summary of Performance

2 steps Completing SOP Completing Exit Notice Exit Notice automatically generates a Graduation Notice for students graduating with a HS diploma and unfortunately also for students aging out Because the Graduation Notice says, “The District is pleased to inform you that your child is on track to earn a high school diploma…” DO NOT PRINT AND GIVE OUT THE GRADUATION NOTICE TO STUDENTS WHO ARE AGING OUT SOP

Follow steps on BookShelf Student receives: IEP Progress report for all goals Most recent reeval report (if you have it) SOP Exit Notice Graduation Notice Exiting with a HS Diploma

Follow the steps on the BookShelf Student receives: IEP Progress report for all goals Most recent reeval report (if you have it) SOP Exit Notice DO NOT PRINT AND GIVE OUT THE GRADUATION NOTICE! Exiting Due to Aging Out
12
Don’t forget to exit the student in Enrich Remember that all students who are not earning a diploma or exiting due to age should have an IEP that continues into the next academic year even if the student/parent says he/she is not coming back You may get a request from a parent/student for a reevaluation for a HS senior because the college/university/vocational program requires a “full evaluation”. OSEP has been clear that this is not the responsibility of the school; you do not have to conduct a reevaluation for the purpose of meeting a requirement from another agency. Exiting
