11 The bridge has weight restrictions. In extreme cases this can cause an additional 7.26 miles of travel. In a sickness or fire, this much response time delay can make a critical difference. Emergency responders must determine the location of the emergency along Land Bridge Road and then determine if the road should be accessed from Verner Mill Road or Whetstone Road. Land Bridge Road

14 Low Water Bridge Road has no bridge, but instead is a ford. It is located just beyond a primitive campground and must be crossed to provide access to residents and visitors to Snyder Cemetery. Low Water Bridge Road project will improve aquatic passage, public safety, wildlife habitat, decrease pollutants from vehicles passing through the water, and reduce sediment going into the Chattooga River.
