4. Congratulations to Ms. Howard’s Entrepreneurship 1 classes who participated in the 1 st Teen Entrepreneurship Symposium held at UNCC on October 8 th. (The event was sponsored by Independent Youth Organization that educates young people on entrepreneurship.)

5.  Do you like to swim?  Have you ever thought about joining the Swim team? If so there is a mandatory meeting Oct. 11 in Coach Bechtolds room, Rm.200. Team gear and T-shirts will be discussed.

6.  Fall Sports Athletes be ready to take pictures on Wednesday, October 10 th, after school.  Remember to bring your uniforms and money.

7.  Congrats ladies on making All Conference for 4A  There will be a match on Tuesday at East Gaston.

8. CCongrats Lady Hawks on beating Garinger TThursday is SENIOR NIGHT against East Gaston, there will be a Varsity and JV game. Come out and support your Lady Hawks!!

9.  There will be No Varsity practice! Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

10.  Cheerleading tryouts for basketball season will be open for J.V. & Varsity teams.  Tryouts will start on Oct.3 rd – 31 st.  Final selection day will be on Oct.31 st.  For more info please see Ms. Houston or Ms. Wynn in the Freshmen Academy rooms 804 + 805.

11.  Shaun Wilson had a 90 yd kickoff return for the first touchdown of the game.  Friday nights game is away at Garinger.
