2 Purpose. Passion. Pride. What is Middle States? The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools is a non-profit association that fosters school improvement in early-age through higher education and other educational institutions through self- study, evaluation, and accreditation.

Review/revise our Foundational Documents: Mission Statement Belief Statements Profile of Graduates 12 Middle States Standards Identify areas of strengths and weakness Establish goals and action plans to improve areas of weakness Hosts a Visiting Team of volunteer educators who validate our study, our adherence to the standards, and the ability to achieve our goals

Validation During the 2015 – 2016 school year, a Visiting Team will spend 3 ½ days visiting the school to determine whether or not we meet the Middle States Standards and have the capacity to implement our stated goals. They will read our Self-Study, observe all aspects of the school, review documents, and interview representatives of the school’s stakeholders.

10 Purpose. Passion. Pride. Survey Students, parents, and faculty and staff will complete a survey addressing Bethlehem Catholic’s adherence to the 12 Middle States Standards.

The school MEETS the expectations of this Indicator 4.
