8 Operation Bahamas Achievements 2007 - 2008 - 6 boats deliver 70 boxes to: Staniel Cay, Black Point, Little Farmers, Georgetown & Ragged Island 2008 – 2009 - 18 boats deliver 230 boxes 2009 – 2010 - 35 boats deliver 350 boxes (80 volunteers & 45 dinghy's)

9 Operation Bahamas Momentum Continues 2010 – 2011 - Added 4 more schools: - Snug Corner Primary School, Acklins - Salina Point Primary School, South Acklins - 2 primary schools in Georgetown - 1 middle school in Georgetown 2010 – 2011 - We expect to deliver over 700 boxes to 10 schools on 6 Islands in the Out Islands of the Bahamas 60 BOATS WILL BE NEED THIS YEAR! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

10 Additional Information Boxes are small (11”LX9”WX7”D) or (14”LX9”WX7”D) and weight 8 to 12 lbs. They can easily be loaded into a dinghy and taken ashore. Boxes can be picked up from October thru January. Boxes are labeled with your boat name and addressed to the Principal of the designated school and are given directly to the Principal. Boxes should be distributed by May 1 st. After you select your choice of Out Island and your pick-up location, we will provide you with the contact information. The boxes will be brought directly to your boat.

11 Boaters - How You Can Help ( sail or power – SSCA Member or Non Member) Volunteer to take boxes on your next trip to the Bahamas. Pass the word to other boaters traveling to the Bahamas. Volunteer your Station Wagon, SUV or Truck once a year to take boxes to Florida Locations.
