Mental States Depressive state: A state of unhappiness that can be debilitating in its severity or duration. It can be a relatively short-lived response to an event (as in post natal depression or seasonal affective disorder) or a recurrent state with no obvious cause. Psychosis: Holding an understanding, perception and interpretation of reality that is not shared by others of the same culture. Neurosis: An intrusive, recurring concern that is coupled with a repeated action aimed at dispelling it e.g. OCD

Side - Effects No guaranteed similarity from one individual to another Weight gain, dry mouth, lethargy, tremors, sexual difficulties and dysfunction constipation, dietary problems, excessive sweating Major s/e Tardive Dyskinesia and parkinsoniam conditions Procyclidine

Section 136 - Mentally Disordered Person Found in Public Places This order authorises a police officer who finds a person to be suffering from mental disorder, in a place to which the public have access, to remove him/her to a place of safety. (there is generally a local agreement in place, to define a place of safety)
