The year is 1785. Your task is to come into Pitching the Past and try to gain a share of the money you need to expand your business…. You need to use your prior knowledge of the inventions in order to persuade the entrepreneurs your machine is the best

W.I.L.F. In your groups you need to:- Provide a 1-2 minute sales pitch – and perform it to the Entrepreneurs Demonstrate how your invention works (either by picture/model/ words) Explain why your product will be bought – why it’s better than any other on the market at this time Produce a hand out for the Entrepreneurs to read Calculate how much share of your business you will sell All members of the group must participate in the sales pitch You will then receive the decision from the Entrepreneurs PLTS - TW

In your groups you need:- 3 people in a group One person responsible for being the main speaker at the pitch One person responsible for costing / contextual knowledge One person responsible for demonstrating how the product works / producing a hand-out to give to the Entrepreneurs PLTS - TW
