The Giclee printing process delivers a fine stream of ink resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display. This art print is produced on a heavy 310 gsm, acid-free and watercolor textured paper. Becoming An Adult The village were he lived became the place where Froebel would begin to feel a deep, mystical connection with nature, which influenced him for his entire life. He studied mineralogy in Jena and directed the stone and gem collection of Berlin's Humboldt University. He was unswerving in his conviction that all creatures and nature were inexplicably, yet completely and spiritually connected. This became the basis of philosophy of Universaler Einklang, or Universal Harmony. zoom

KINDERGARTEN Friedrich Froebel changed the way we think about early childhood education. He designed balls, wooden blocks, tiles, sticks and rings to demonstrate that children learn by playing. Known around the world as the Froebel Gifts or Gaben, these objects were an important part of his Kindergarten. The Froebel Gifts have been widely imitated and adapted by educators and toys makers.
