1. Meter Stick Measures distance. Be sure to measure in cm or m, not in inches. 1 m or 100 cm

2. Safety Goggles Protects eyes from chemical spills and hot liquids.

3. Thermometer Measures heat (kinetic) energy of an object.

4. Pipette Transfer known amounts of liquids from one container to another. Draws liquids out of containers by squeezing the bulb, creating a vacuum.

5. Test Tube Holder Grasps hot test tubes.

6. Bunsen Burner Heat and boil non- flammable liquids and to melt solids. Are connected to a rubber hose which carry natural gas.

7. Funnel Allows liquids to be poured into smaller containers Helps separate mixtures

9. Glass Stirring Rod Mixes two substances together.
