History Lived from 1750-100 BC. Largest population:20,000 people

Social Classes Elite: people who controlled the food supplies or were religious leaders Common people: fishers, farmers, hunters, and gathers.

Religion Inspired by plants and animals. Activities were preformed by rulers, priests, and shamans. Worshiped the jaguar and the maize god. Burial rituals Rain ceremonies

Tools Made out of chirt, obsidian, and jade. Sharpened the obsidian to cut and pierce random objects and food. Jade was used to make axes.
