“More Blessed To Give” Not found anywhere else – How could Paul quote Jesus? – John 14:26 How can this be true? – Most think of being blessed as “receiving” – How “get” more by “giving” – Acts 20:34, 35; Philippians 3:7,8
3
“More Blessed To Give” Not always bad to receive – Let others be blessed for giving – Some (thru pride) won’t let needs be known – Some blessing in “receiving” – More blessed to be able to give – Example of giving blood
4
“More Blessed To Give” It pleases God when done for right purpose – Some give for wrong reason – Matthew 6:1-4 – 2 Corinthians 9:7 – “God loves…” – Greatest blessing of all – Should be greatest motivation – Hebrews 13:16
5
“More Blessed To Give” God will reward! – How? How much? – Matthew 6:4 – “Count your blessings” – Matthew 5:1-11 – “Blessed” – Not what you “get” but what you “are”
6
“More Blessed To Give” “Blessed” – “Happy” – Some want someone to make them happy – It’s what you are or become – God-likeness – Example John 3:16 – What does God receive? Practice it & it will teach its own lesson
7
