Why Open Access Network? ARRA funds need to build the capability of many carriers to reach the end user RVT - Joins with States, Municipalities, Non-profits or Others to enable multiple service providers to compete over the same network helping subscriber’s get the best prices and services possible Support local and regional broadband deployment in underserved and un-served areas Short-term: Service Providers can increase revenue quickly by utilizing the Open Access Network (ONA) Long-term: OAN owners secure continuous revenue from service provider to sustain the availability.
