Indicator 12: Supportive Environment, Safe and Well-Maintained Facilities Clean, Safe, Attractive, and Well-Maintained Schools Over a 4-5 week period, priorities were developed for immediate and long range action plans for facilities needs at 63 sites Action plans consisting of issues/concerns noted from site visits Facilities, Planning and Construction was consulted regarding construction occurring at sites Assessment of progress and updates will continue through completion 4

Indicator 12: Supportive Environment, Safe and Well-Maintained Facilities Restorative Justice Spring 2014 middle and high schools participated in two days of PD (optional) Summer and September 2014 – Additional PD provided for teams at identified middle and high schools Examined District Zero Tolerance Policy and made significant changes in the policy to support the use of Restorative Justice and PBIS Training began in September for sites and administrators Positive Behavior, Interventions and Support (PBIS) Work began in 2008 and has grown to 80 sites Focus for 2014-15: ◦ Completing PD for K-8/middle sites (six days) ◦ Add a new elementary cohort (six days) ◦ Refresh Practices (two days) for all sites that have already had PD to examine current practice and have site visits to share best practices 5
