Showing and handling feelings/emotions Communication, the father’s role, discipline Working with Mom/co-parenting National Fatherhood Intake/Information session Children’s growth/development, getting involved Dads and work, money management/budgeting Fathering from the inside; Reentry

The VIP [Very Important Padre] program is designed to provide a comprehensive set of tools, strategies and exercises for fathers of all races, religions, cultures, and backgrounds that will allow them to become the father their children need.

Here are some facts about being a father: A positive self-worth is critical to the ability to nurture one’s self, others and the environment Empathy forms the foundation of a nurturing father and parenting. Fathers empower their children to make good choices and wise decisions through the use of their children’s strong will and personal power. Discipline is the practice of teaching children to be respectful, cooperative, and contributing members to a family and society Humor, laughter and fun necessary to promote family happiness, a positive attitude, an outlet for stress reduction, and the chance to make living together as a family enjoyable.

Dads Classes Inside/Out Dad Designed for individuals who are incarcerated and addresses their special needs. 24:7 Dad Intended for all fathers in the community.
