Faruq: Well, I’m preparing for my next lesson. I need to talk about animals. Perhaps, you can help me. What types of domestic animals do you have in your village home?
Tareq: Well, when I was a child there were 20 cows and buffaloes at home but now there are only four cows and no buffaloes.
Faruq: I see! This is true in my village home too. Eight people live there but they get milk from only one cow. There are no hens and ducks there.
Tareq: Well, that was quite unusual 20 years ago. Anyway, what about wild animals?
Faruq: Well, there are some quite common wild animals in Bangladesh, for example, monkeys, gophers, mongoose, rabbits, foxes, wild cats, and different types of snakes are found in most places. Royal Bengal tigers and wild deer are also found in the Sundarbans. Unfortunately the number of these wild animals is decreasing day by day.
Tareq: In that case, we should do something to protect and save our animals.
