Establishment of mechanism of cooperation and interaction between universities and industry at the regional level: Experience and problems of DonNTU Main problem: In Soviet period (until 1991) the amount of cooperation of DonNTU with industry was very significant (more than millions $ for majority of departments). But mostly (80 %) projects was military. At period of independence we have lost nearly all these projects. Now we have less than 10 % of this financing for our projects
