In January 1994 January 18, 1995 History Yang and Filo started the company named Jelly’s guide to the World Wide Web. They renamed the company name Yahoo! And Yahoo was born.

Yahoo! Means… Y et The second name the company The term "hierarchical" described how the Yahoo! database was arranged in directory layers. The term "oracle" was intended to mean "source of truth and wisdom". And "officious" described the many office workers who would use the Yahoo! database while surfing from work. Original name ?
