Online Apply From July 1, 2010 Brandon - 100 Postings, 969 applications (451 unique people) - 573 external applicants Seven Oaks – 65 Postings, 487 applications (165 Unique) WSD – 242 Postings, 2387 applications (923 unique) Fort McMurray – 150 Postings, 1224 applications (443 unique) Mystery Lake – 3 postings, 6 applicants Delta School District - (Internal) 165 Postings 883 applications River East Transcona - 1 Posting.. Testing for returning Subs Note: Also used for casual and substitute applications and substitute renewal

Job Posting Create Job Posting and it will automatically appear/disappear from the web based on your definition. At this same time it can –create your posting pdf (or you can attach your own document), –email the posting to all locations and distribution list(s) as you have defined. Allow for online apply which means current staff and new applicants can complete the application process online. All information is updating in CIMS and attachments are stored At an appropriate time, postings (as per location) will appear on administrator dashboard along with all or shortlisted applicants. Admin work right off the dashboard to review, print, manage application details. Use CIMS to track applicant process, book interviews, send emails as necessary to interviewees, sorries …., and eventually hire a person.

Online Apply INTRODUCE: Sherry Garden from Brandon School Division … 1000 applications online Talk about how and why they started How successful has it been Explain how you got online and to what levels - postings, posting attach, online apply, admin review, screening and interview reporting & tracking from CIMS, finally hire What were the startup challenges and continued challenges at the applicant level? At the Administrator level? What has going online meant in terms of efficiencies, time savings, timeliness? If you had to go back, how bad would that be?

Goals/Updates Goals: Districts all implement online apply - and if you can’t get past Apply to Teach at least for Support Group! Discussion/Enhancements: RETSD request. On POS.220 where you can indicate what tabs are necessary Skills Y/N, Experience Y/N to fill in … add Y/N/O - omit so the tab is greyed out. Confirmation of Declaration Type, Handicaps, Categories …. POS.524 statistical reporting What to do with applicant package. Profile is ever changing. Is there a need to store those applicant documents at time of deadline to know exactly what was stated for each person at that posting?
