HISTORY OF CRLA Over 700 colleges and university tutorial programs in the U.S.A. have received tutor training certification since 1989. Why is this important to know about CRLA? Once certified: - You are more likely to be hired by other tutorial programs. (Often just by the mention of certification, it indicates your commitment to expertise and excellence.) - You will be able to ask for the tutoring program’s higher pay rate if applicable. (IF THEY RECOGNIZE CRLA CERTIFICATES) - If you were to go into professional tutoring your starting rate can be higher (not as high without a Bachelors Degree) - DID YOU KNOW THE AVERAGE INDEPENDENT TUTOR CAN CHARGE AN AVERAGE OF$25/hr? Also, depending on the number of degrees you have your hourly charge increases. - By certifying while working with us you will avoid extra costs for certification. (We pay you to become certified.)
