The National Research Register for Social Care Lack of national database for social care research Centralised record of all Local Authority social care research carried out under the Research Governance Framework (RGF) The RGF is a new framework for managing research within health and social care. It aims to improve research quality & safeguard the public by: Enhancing ethical and scientific quality Promoting good practice Reducing adverse incidents & ensuring lessons are learned Preventing poor performance & misconduct
