2 Agenda October School Census Support and Assistance School Workforce - Running your health checks P4 Software Questions

3 School Census School Census date 1 st October 2015 No full upgrade required for this census. If you are doing your return on P4 then we will need to run a set-up on your software Ensure you are on the correct patch no: 9.7.0 (WS240815.1) Instructions are available on our website at: wautonsamuel.co.uk > Downloads > Instructions > External Returns Please ensure your Headteacher signs off the summary report from the census prior to returning the file. Run your school census when you get back to school!

4 School Census areas to check Attendance Data is collected from 6 th April 2015 to 1 st July 2015 Special Schools are also required to return attendance information for the second half of the summer term. Dates for this are from the 25 th May 2015 to 31 st July 2015. Exclusions All exclusions between 1 st January 2015 and 4 th April 2015 need to be entered onto the system for current and leavers.

5 Meal Entitlement FSM Entitlement Please make sure you have updated your FSM on the system and all your new reception children have been entered onto the system and given the appropriate Meal Rate. Please remember: Free school meal rate is different to the Universal Meal option.

6 SEN Changes SEN Stages Statemented, School Action and School Action Plus. You should have started to move your children to the new stages New Codes EHCP Educational Health Care Plan (E) New Codes Sen Support (K) New Need SEN support but no specialist assessment of type of need New NeedSocial, mental and educational health (SMEH)

7 SEN Changes SEN Stages Statemented – this may be retained for on roll children up to 2018. SA and SP These codes are no longer valid. All pupils should have been moved to the new codes by now. If not please speak to your SEN Coordinator before you run and return your census.

8 School Workforce Once Pupil census is out of the way we would recommend you start to think about the School Workforce Census. Please remember - Your main point of entry should be School Workforce for new staff. Please remember that you enter all information required for all employees Please remember to regular check and run a practice school census

9 Update We have completed 800 functions of the 1200 in PASAPP which were seen as essential for September

10 Update We have released P4 out to specific schools and are responding to Feedback P4 can run all pupil statutory returns from January 2016 We are providing the option of moving to P4 fully from January 2016 after completing testing P4 can be made to be accessible from outside the school on any device

11 Update We are seeking your opinion on ‘essential’: Applications? Annual Pupil Reports? Assessments (Assessment without Levels) ? Improved Email and text message modules?
