8. Lab Safety Rules:  Never work alone  Follow instructions thoroughly  Do not drink, or chew in lab  Only do experiments designated by instructor  Be prepared  No horse play  Good house keeping  Know locations and procedures in labs and for emergencies

Lab Safety Rules:  Dispose of chemical waste properly  Handle all living organisms in a respectful manner  Use lab tools correctly (What’s the right way to cut with a scalpel?)  Notify teacher of accidents  Notify teacher of allergies or certain conditions  Dress properly  Handle glassware appropriately  Do not used damaged electrical equipment  Follow rules and methods for heating substances
