Christ Cathedral Church is one of Vancouver’s oldest buildings. It’s a historical church built from the earliest settlers of Vancouver. The first service was held, without a church building, on December 23, 1888 at 720 Granville Street in the town of Vancouver. Later, on February 14, 1889, a building committee was formed to collect the necessary funds for the erection of the church. The church has numerous large beautiful stained glasses.

Stanley Park is a 1001 acre public park which borders downtown Vancouver and is almost entirely surrounded by the waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. This park has a long historical background since it was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. The land was original used by indigenous people thousands of years before it was colonized by settlers. The land was named after Lord Stanley, a British politician who recently been appointed to governor general.

Founded in 1968, it’s a astronomy museum in Vanier Park, Vancouver. There are live demonstrations, exhibitions, games, and a real observatory next door. On weekdays the theatre is open to public ranging from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

This museum focuses on city issues and history along with a strong influence of the First Nations art and artifacts. There’s constantly multiple exhibitions, programs and events daily. Favourite exhibition is the 1930’s- 1940’s, Boom, Bust, and War. Talks about the decline of jobs in 1929 then about WW2. When Canada entered the war in 1939, ship production and the connection of the Japanese Canadians in our society.

Play land is an amusement park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located in Hastings Park and is the oldest amusement park in Canada. Every year the park will replace one or two rides with new ones and the attendance of the park is always near capacity during the annual fair. For the 2009 season, the Demons of the Dark and House of the Dead haunted houses were replaced with the Haunted Mansion and the arcade was replaced with Command Headquarters.
