The NBP Helps Out The National Bamboo Project was founded in 1986 to decrease deforestation The NBP replaces timber with bamboo Areas that were bare ten years ago have now been reforested

What YOU can do 1.Reforestation needs to take place-plant trees! 2.Use recycled items 3.If you have to cut down a tree, go for the older ones, do not cut down baby trees 4.Use coal to heat up the fireplace instead of firewood 5.Support laws to stop any form of deforestation
