Our Team Tell us about your team: Brett Eva clean Clarence Middle School Soaring Planes soar We are two 6 th grade technology students by the names of Brett and Eva, that are trying to conduct clean wind energy. We come from Buffalo N.Y. and go to Clarence Middle School. We named our team the Soaring Planes because the blades of our wind turbine soar through the air like planes.

Design Brief Problem Statement (What is the problem that your teacher has given you to solve?): We have notices the world is struggling to use clean energy and to prevent pollution. We are trying to come up with a way to conduct clean wind energy to prevent further pollution and energy shortages by using the turbine we created. Design Statement (How are you going to solve this problem? Include the process you are going to take to solve the given problem) : We are going to solve this tragedy by building wind turbines that will produce enough clean energy to solve these problems.

Design Brief Constraints (What you can and cannot do/use.): Can Use Cannot Use -Coraplast - No metal -Cardboard tubes - No less than 2 blades -Paper plates - No more than 6 blades -Cereal boxes -Balsa -Saw Machines Deliverables (What materials and items you need to solve this problem) Coraplast Ruler Graph paper Pencil Saw Scissors Cardboard Tubes Wooden dowel A turbine A fan A turbine hub
