Murder Mystery A man and woman have been murdered. You have to use the clues to re-construct what happened and solve the case. Various pieces of evidence have been gathered. Before you even see them, what questions would you have? What sorts of evidence might you need?

Focus on the region: F - 2 6 October 1908 Austria-Hungary took over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia was made up of many different cultures. One of these cultures was the ethnic Serbs.

The Black Hand The Black Hand were a terrorist organisation based in Serbia. The Black Hand wanted to form a greater Serbia where all Serbs could live. Gavrilo Princip was a member. He and some others planned the assassination of Franz Ferdinand.

Statement by Austria-Hungary The bloody deed was not the work of a single individual but a well organized plot... there can be no doubt that its policy of uniting all Southern Slavs under the Serbian flag encourages such crimes and the continuation of this situation is a chronic peril for my House and my territories. My efforts must be directed to isolating Serbia and reducing her size.
