To get to Venice, you can make one stop for $ , flying on the company Multiple Airlines.

3. IMMUNIZATIONS NEEDED
When traveling to Italy, no immunizations are required, but Hepatitis A and B and a Rabies shot are recommended.

4. PASSPORTS
To get one adult passport book for Italy, the total cost is $135. One of many places to get a passport is the Philadelphia Passport Agency in Pennsylvania.

5. CURRENCY
The local currency in Venice is the Euro. One U.S. equals Euros. So, if you have $2000 American dollars, in local currency you will have 1, Euros.

6. LIVING IN VENICE
If we were to live in Venice, we would stay in the neighborhood of Dorsoduro. This would be our choice because it is located in the heart of art scene. Also, is very quiet at night, and getting around there is easy due to the many bridges and alleyways. It also boasts great scenery.

7. GETTING AROUND IN VENICE
To get around in Venice, Italy the most ideal ways of transportation are on foot, Italy’s famous water taxis, or by Alilaguna (an inexpensive, slow moving boat). Water taxis are the most expensive, but they are the fastest.

8. HAVING FUN IN VENICE
Some great places of interest when traveling to Venice, Italy are the Venice Jazz Club (VJC), the Grand Canal, and the Rialto Bridge.
Some places to sample Italy’s great cuisine in Venice are Gatto Nero, which serves a variety of great seafood. Also, a great place to eat would be Osteria All’Arco, which produces many varieties of cured meats.
Some great places for shopping in Venice are Piazza San Marco and Campo San Bartolomeo.
Sightseeing opportunities in Venice are the Bridge of Sighs and Saint Mark’s Basilica.
