hemisphere ► Half of a sphere. Half of the Earth.

Equator ► Imaginary line that is halfway between the North and South Pole. This line divides Earth into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

lines of latitude ► Imaginary lines that run horizontally. These lines measure how far north or south you are of the Equator.
