3 Weighting Weighted GPA’s are only used for HL and AP classes and only for grades of a C- or higher.

4 Step 1: Convert the letter grade into a number using the table.
4.0 B 3.0 B+ 3.33 A- 3.67 C+ 2.33

5 Step 2: Multiply by the number of credits each course is worth.
4.0 X .5 = 3.0 X .75 = 3.33 X .75 = 3.67 X .5 = 2.33 X .5 = 3.0 X .5 = 2 2.25 2.49 1.83 1.16 1.5

6 Step 3: Add all the numbers and divide by the total possible credits.
2 + 2.25 + 2.49 + 1.83 + 1.16 + 1.5 11.23 / 3.5 = Which rounds to: 3.21 This is the GPA! = 11.23
