Survey on project We are being asked to complete surveys on service projects that you signed found out about and signed up for through Youth Services (Mrs. Phillips) One PER project/event. Complete at least one… more if you can! Turn in now or anytime at my office. I can also take them at our next meeting on 12/3.

Student in Action Nomination BHS was selected as an official Jefferson Awards Leadership School PEER nominations for a monthly SIA award – Nominate ANY BHS student that has done outstanding service. You may do more than one nomination! – Ask yourself “Who has done something remarkable this month to serve other?” – Identify students that are involved worthy service and volunteer projects For group projects, did the individual take a leadership role, do additional work, go above and beyond, or contribute significantly to the project? Nominations for November or due by FRIDAY! The winner will be announced after Thanksgiving. Drop off at Mrs. Phillips’ office or email them to her. Nominations will be kept on file the remainder of the school year or until the individual receives a monthly award.

Global ProjectUpdate - FMSC November 13 th – we had 62 volunteers from BHS! We were at four stations and 63 boxes of food were packed. During the total shift 152 boxes were packed – that is 32,832 meals, feeding 89 kids for a year! Next scheduled: December 15 th, 6:00-7:30 and 8:00-9:30pm – pick one or both shifts! – Go to the website to sign up or sign up after the meeting – We need 18+ volunteers – can your parents stay to help? Sign up on the website under 18+ and indicate “parent” in the comments.

Local project – Hope 4 Youth Over 2100 items collected – more than the 1,300 POUNDS of food were donated to Hope 4 Youth! – Exceeded goal of 1,000 – Great Job Delivery was November 15 th – Ali & Hailey received a tour of Hope 4 Youth Hope 4 Youth Donation Center needs help Saturday mornings 9:00-12:00 – sign up online December/January – Gifts - $5 gift card, body spray/lip gloss, homemade card & ornament? – Fleece tie blankets
