Habitat: Arctic, ice, snow, Environment: one of the harshest environments in the world. extremely cold, chill winds Polar bear adaptations: white fur to blend in so their prey cant see them Blubber (fat) and fur to keep them warm Long and curved claws to grip to ice and kill prey

Environmental conditions
TASK: Design an imaginary creature that is adapted to survive in a habitat of your choice. Make a large drawing and label all its important features. You will need to think about: • what it eats and how it gets water • how it moves around • how it is protected from the weather. Environmental conditions - cold, wet and windy weather - ground water is frozen - steep rocky ground - small animals live in dark caves - tall trees with smooth bark grow in the mountains. -they have berries on their highest branches Extension: what behavioural adaptations might the animal have
