Table Tennis Rules of the sport: you cannot strike the ball twice in succession. The players are not permitted to touch the net or the supports while the ball is in play. Another way to break the rules is to make an illegal serve. Each player is able to claim a time-out for up to one minute during an individual match. Description of the game: It is just like tennis just with a different scoring system. Single matches are played with seven games, whoever reaches a score of eleven is the winner of that game. Team match consists of four single matches and one double match, each played over the best of five games. In double matches, the competitors must take turns hitting the ball, with one hit alternating. It is high speed and you need lightning reflexes, incredible agility, and a good level of fitness.

In the former Soviet Union Table Tennis was banned because they believed that the game was harmful to the eyes in the early 20 th century. Ping pong, Flim Flam, and Whiff Waff are also names for Table Tennis, referring to the sound of the ball bouncing. Table Tennis was developed in the late 1900s Table Tennis is the largest participation sport played in the world Since Table Tennis was invented, China has won 20 out of 24 available gold medals.
