USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu About USFSCO University Student Financial Services & Cashier Operations (USFSCO) is the central billing and payment office of the University of Illinois. We serve students at all three of the U of I campuses.

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu Location and Hours: Cashier Operations (Bursar) Office Lower Level Public Affairs Center (PAC) 184 Office Hours: – 9am to 4pm Monday thru Friday – Closed during lunch hour (12:30 – 1:30)

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu FERPA Prohibits USFSCO from giving specific student account information to anyone without the student’s authorization Parents (and others) need to be an “Authorized Payer” Students enroll Authorized Payers online – instructions on our website Authorized Payers get their own login ID and password to access account information and make payments online

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu University Billing Cycle Student Account transaction detail and balance is available online in UI-Pay Reflects tuition, fees, housing, and other charges/credits from campus departments You can review your up-to-date student account activity anytime online in UI-Pay

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu University Billing Cycle con’t Student Account Summary is continually updated as charges of tuition/fees/etc. are assessed. Spring Due Date is February 28, 2014 Check your account regularly, especially if you add /drop courses

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu Your Payment Options Online with electronic check (e-check) Online with credit card (only accept MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover - will incur a 2.4% fee) In person or by mail Checks must be drawn on US Bank in US Dollars Checks must include UIN and student’s name For your safety and security, we do NOT accept cash payments peerTransfer

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu Payment Plan Optional plan to pay in monthly installments $42 to enroll in Spring Payment Plan Payments are taken out automatically on the 28 th of each month from a U.S. bank account Deadlines: – January 27 th for 5 month plan – February 27 th for 4 month plan – March 3 rd for 3 month plan

Delinquent accounts are assessed a 1.5% late payment fee each month on remaining balance A financial hold is placed on the account – Prohibits registration for future term Holds on account prior to Priority Registration – Prohibits adding/dropping of courses – Prohibits release of official transcripts

USFSCO New Student Orientation http://paymybill.uillinois.edu Direct Deposit Credit balances/overpayments will only be refunded directly to the student by direct deposit Refund process 30 – 45 days Students receive an email when a refund has been processed Students must enroll in direct deposit online Must change personal information if leave UIS
