11. Bromley Learning Disability Partnership Board What are we asking people? Some people get help from the Council, some pay money towards the help they get The Council wants to change what people pay

12. Bromley Learning Disability Partnership Board The changes are: Personal Budgets are the new way that the Council is giving people help You can choose how you spend the money to pay for the help.

13. Bromley Learning Disability Partnership Board before: we helped to pay for laundry services, shopping and holiday breaks. This was for everyone who needed some help, our plan: we will not help to pay for these services. These services will not be included in people’s Personal Budgets.

14. Bromley Learning Disability Partnership Board before: we paid the whole cost of day services for people who need help our plan: if people have enough money, we will start asking them to pay some money for day services

15. Bromley Learning Disability Partnership Board before: We now charge a “flat rate” for homecare services our plan: if people have enough money, we will start asking them to pay more money if: they get help for a longer time they need more than 1 carer they need help at evenings or weekends
