3 SMART Topic Selection… Michigan did not meet target for Family Outcome indicator 4B – Effectively communicate their children’s needs Target has not been met since FFY06 Why 4B was selected This particular indicator has a long term implication for the family We performed best on 4A – Helping your child develop and learn 4C – Knowing your rights – is only applicable during their time in Part C 4B – this would be beneficial throughout their educational tenure 39/20/2011
