8.  Letters of Recommendation are NOT a part of the transfer application process. – The new admission policy applies to freshmen only.  Partial IGETC work may lead to a cancellation if the student was admitted with the expectation that the full IGETC would be completed. – This summer, we saw an uptick in those not completing Foreign Language and also not meeting the requirement in HS.  International students on CCC campuses will be offered the option of completing a virtual interview through InitialView. This pilot process interview is OPTIONAL & managed by an outside vendor. Good option for students on a visa from non-English speaking countries. Admission @ Berkeley
