7 Special Instrumentation Systems SIMES 1000 Hz Operation High Performance Data Acquisition H/W Anti-aliasing Analog Digital and Video Processing Provided as product or a service to our customers SIMES is an instrumentation system specifically designed to measure simulator cueing systems and their fidelity. Measures bandwidth, transient performance, and time delays as well as compares predicted results to actual results for fidelity analysis. Motion system, cockpit controls and visual system

9 SIMES Independent Simulation Verification and Testing Services Pre and Post-mod Testing for any separate sub-system or the total simulator. Useful for base-lining a simulator prior to an upgrade or mod. Acceptance Testing Support for both the fidelity of the simulator and the response of the cueing systems using FAA compliant tools for simulator and cueing system testing. Test Procedure Development for FAA and Military acceptance test procedures. This includes a test procedure library containing Trainer Testing Procedures Result Reports (TTPRRs), Auto Fidelity Tests and system latency procedures providing end to end automated testing. Sub-System Performance Analysis before purchase or installation, to assure the sub-system meets the performance specified by the manufacturer. SIMES provides for real-time analysis ending the guess work and finger pointing between hardware and software. Isolates the sub-systems contributing to simulation problems including latency!
