2. Where do we get our fruit and veg from? Using the food cards, list the countries we import our food from. Once you have done that use P.102 of the atlas to find and shade/number them. You should find at least 10 countries.

8. How can we reduce food miles? Buy more British food Buy more local food Grow your own vegetables / fruit Use local shops rather than travelling to bigger supermarkets. Buy food in less packaging

9. Homework Imagine you have just bought a chicken salad. Create a poster that shows the effect you eating a chicken salad has on the planet. Consider the different ingredients, where they come from, how they are transported to you, the energy used to cook the chicken etc. Due next lesson
