Example 1- The record for the greatest distance traveled on a skateboard in 24 hours was set by James Peters in 2007. He traveled about 7.6 miles per hour. – Round 7.6 to the nearest whole number. – Estimate how many miles James Peters traveled in 24 hours. – Is your estimate higher or lower that the actual distance he traveled? Explain.
