DE Project Background Department of Education (DE) wanted to ensure that the benefits of the Entitlement Framework could be fully realised for SEN learners The overarching aim was to assess the suitability of accredited qualifications for learners aged 14-19 in Special Schools and Learning Support Centres (LSCs) CCEA in its regulatory role undertook the work to achieve better recognition for learner achievements in the SEN sector
