9 About the Program…

10 Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassadors Each year 50 of the most elite 4-H members from across the state of Texas are selected to become Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassadors. They spend 72-96 hours of some of the most intense livestock training at either Texas A&M or Texas Tech University. They then spend the next year of their life advocating for the livestock and showing industries across the state.

12 About the Program…

13 Hood County 4-H Agriculture Ambassadors This past summer Hood County 4-H started a program modeled after the state wide Agriculture Ambassador Program. It was a one day program open to all Hood County 4-H’ers. They toured several agricultural businesses around the county, learning the importance and necessity of agriculture in our daily lives.
