Hebrews 5:12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able

Romans 5:11 (NLT) So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. Our Christianity is not based on rules and regulations, it is based on a relationship with God

2 John 1:9 (NLT) who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son. In my relationship with God, He speaks to me and brings me instruction. Therefore I live my life from relationship

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

Proverbs 17:10 Rebuke is more effective for a wise man than a hundred blows on a fool Proverbs 27:5 Open rebuke is better Than love carefully concealed.

Proverbs 15:32 He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, but he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, But he who regards a rebuke will be honored.

Proverbs 9:8 Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.

1 Timothy 5:20 Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear. 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Titus 1:13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, Titus 2:15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you

Revelation 3:19 “ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Hebrews 12:5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: "My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him.

Many western (European and American) Christians do not mature because, unlike believers from many other places (Asia, Africa), they are unable to receive correction from God, from others, and unable to receive wise counsel.
