2 Definition of industrial design The objective of this area is to study both function and form, and the connection between product, the user and the environment. The professionals are or specialized in small scale design, industrial design engineers do not design the gears or motors that make machines move but they can affect technical aspect through usability design and form relationships. 6 How does it work? 7 For who and why? We have made the car for people who live in in places like Amsterdam and Venice. We have come to this idea because when we went to Venice we saw that Venice was only accessable by boat or foot. Also people that live on groups of islands can go from one island to the other without a change of vehicle. It’s very practical for Venice or Amsterdam because people can go from the mainland straight to their homes and park the car on the water. We have made the car for people who live in in places like Amsterdam and Venice. We have come to this idea because when we went to Venice we saw that Venice was only accessable by boat or foot.
