1 Minor in Computer Technology Computer Engineering UCSC Baskin School of Engineering
2
2 Computer Engineering focuses on the design, analysis and application of computers and on their applications as components of systems. The Computer Technology Minor provides a broad overview of the underlying hardware and software technologies of the computer age within the context of society.

3 Who is the Minor for? Students interested in the use of computer technology in another discipline –The minor will inform you of the possibilities of computer technology and enable you to work with engineering teams to solve problems. Or Students interested in K-12 teaching. The minor does not focus on the foundations of engineering (math and physics), but instead the application and use of computer technology.
