2 Objectives Upon completion of this portion of the workshop students will be able to competently:  Create and edit a blog and a wiki for use within teaching and assessment contexts  Recommend an appropriate Web2.0 technology for application in their teaching Learning Technologies Module – 3 February 2009

16 Over to you – hands on tasks Over the next 15 minutes:  Task 1  In our Web 2.0 community wiki, set up your own wiki page called ‘your name’.  Briefly outline your golden nugget – an idea for using blogs/wikis in your teaching  Task 2  Cut and paste these thoughts to the Web 2.0 community blog Learning Technologies Module – 3 February 2009

17 Over to you (part 2) – hands on tasks Over the next 15 minutes:  Using your brainstorming sheets, pair up with a colleague and jot down some planning ideas to help you on the path to the golden nugget  Edit your wiki page to reflect your plans  You can copy the Brainstorming sheet from the Resources wiki page if you want!
